Trivia[]
- The Science Whatchamacallit had initially premiered on June 10, 2005, at 9:40 PM as a special sneak peek for the series. It aired after the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Go Figure.[2]
- Coincidentally, this episode also aired on Jessica DiCicco's birthday.
- This marks the first appearance of: Eugene and Wendell, Dawn Swatworthy, Mrs. Wingston, and Nurse Hatchison.
- Even though Dawn Swatworthy makes her brief first appearance, she has a non-speaking role until "The Candidate".
Cultural References[]
- The Beatles - While Maggie figures out how she and Rayna split with Eugene and Wendell as a partner, she asks, "Like breaking up the beetles?". It ironically refers to the rock band, The Beatles, in which most members of the group were split in the 1970 and moved on to become solo artists.
- The Wizard of Oz - While Eugene and Wendell are taken to the hospital while molting, Eugene says "I'm molting! Molting! Oh, what a world! What a world!", which is a reference to one of the Wicked Witch of the West's final words when she is melting, via "I'm melting! Melting! Oh, what a world! What a world!".
