Synopsis[]

Maggie sneaks into a flying, mature-rated movie to be more like her older brother.

Plot[]

The episode begins with the Pesky family eating spoiled eggs for dinner, and Maggie asking her parents if she can see The Flyinator. Despite her parents already seeing the film the previous weekend, they don't allow her to see the film. Maggie then reminds her parents that her older brother Aldrin had been allowed to see 3 movies that week, and Maggie not being allowed to see those either. Her father Chauncey tells her that she isn't old enough to see those kinds of movies, and her mother Frieda says that Aldrin is older than her, in which he says that "little Maggie might get scared." Maggie says that she thinks she's old enough to handle the film, but Aldrin says that Flyinator 3 is rated FM, (fly mature) and that he isn't allowed to watch it without their parents going with him. Frieda tells Maggie that she can see The Prancing Princess, in which Maggie responds with a "yuck."

At the theater with Rayna, Maggie then sees posters for The Last Samufly, Lord of the Wings, and Fly Another Day, and then buys tickets for The Last Samufly instead. After they finish the movie, they notice that Lord of the Wings is about to start, and then they go to see that film. After, they then notice that Fly Another Day is starting as well. Later, they both notice that Aldrin is in the hallway as well, and then he tells Maggie that he will tell their parents that she saw those 3 films. Aldrin had finished watching The Flyinator with his friend George, and they found a replacement for Mr. and Mrs. Pesky, a pair of large beetles. Aldrin tells Maggie that the score is no longer even, due to him just finishing the film, making his score 4. This means that Maggie will have to see the film as well. This also indicated that she would need parents to get in, but she used the beetles to get in.

Rayna is scared of the previews, and she runs out of the theater, and notices posters for other horror films, but then notices that The Prancing Princess is playing, and eventually sees that one instead. In the Flyinator 3 theater, Maggie became scared of the film, despite thinking that she could handle it. As she gets home, Aldrin is waiting for her. He appears to have covered for Maggie and told their parents that she and Rayna had been at the library studying. Maggie then begins to hallucinate as she imagines her family members turning into the Flyinator. Chauncey notices that Maggie is terrified, and asks her if she's seen the film, and she confesses. Chauncey and Frieda play a prank on her, and quotes from the film, "that was just the appetizer" making Maggie scream in horror and run away, to her room, (or breaks through the walls) They want to go check if she is alright, but then Chauncey asks Aldrin if the film didn't scare him. He says that he can handle things like that, he's older, and that he's "a guy". He then sneaks out a Prancing Princess doll, which apparently belongs to Pupert. They fight for the doll, and they both rip it apart, ending the episode.
